Billy doesn't have to look up to know that it’s her. He’d know that voice, that rasp, anywhere. But it seems that he didn't need to hear her voice at all, his body is apparently fine tuned to whenever she’s just simply around. To where she is exactly at all times, even without being in his line of sight. And that irritates him, that he’s still so in sync with her even after months of being apart. After months of trying to forget and erase. Of trying to detach whatever invisible force knotted them together."
