Hey all! Welcome to ‘The Historian,’ a fun fic that traverses several server fandoms, along with a few different headcanons of mine and possibly some AUs. I’m so excited to share all of this with you!
Before I turn you loose to enjoy the fic, I want to point out that all of the ‘ships’ in this fic are platonic unless blatantly obvious otherwise. These silly guys are just friends, that’s how I’m writing them, that’s how they’re intended. Mind you, there may be a romantic pairing in here at some point ( i.e. Pearl and Scott, Joel and Lizzie) but for the most part I want to focus on platonic friendships and a ‘found family’ dynamic.
Not all of my fics are gonna be sans-romance, but this one is definitely staying away from most of that realm (sorry if that’s why you’re here). I 100% will try my absolute best to respect boundaries, and if I mess up, let me know in a kind way. (Btw, all ships are of the characters, not the content creators!)
Just so we’re on the same page, here’s a list of ships currently included, along with what they are.
Gem and Pearl (Best friends)
Gem and Xisuma (Gem struggles a bit with his authority, but they’re still friends)
Rusty and Jaw (Close friends who walked through absolute heck together)
As for the tags on here, I’m still very new to this. I’ll add new tabs as I go and try to keep it up to date. If you have any suggestions for tags, let me know!
