Vio was pacing in the castle library now. Their rushed footsteps thudded lightly on the wooded floorboards as they walked back and forth. Their notes and books were sprawled out on one of the library's tables, mostly consisting of things like dark magick and resurrection.
Vio and Zelda tried everything, and I mean EVERYTHING they could. Their efforts all ceased to bring forth any results, however. Until Blue came back from his last mission. Blue was sent on a mission by the princess herself to search the old Wind Temple for anything that could hold potential for their current “project” in the works. When Blue had returned, everything seemed to take a turn for the better.

"Welcome to the meeting, everyone" Zelda greeted the group.
The four heroes, Zelda, and some of the other higher ups were all at the meeting room now. There was a relatively large, round table and each person sat professionally in the uncomfortable wooden chairs. Even Vio was sitting up straight at this meeting, even though they usually let his back slouch and didn't bother to keep his posture in check.
"Now, as I'm sure everyone is aware, our current.. 'project' has been lacking in progress." Zelda starts off,
"Our current efforts have proved misleading and led to no such solution."
Everyone in the room looked at one another with a gloomy look in their eyes (that is, other than Red who has found herself staring at Zelda with as much anticipation as one could muster, clearly already anticipating the good news).
"yea, yea, so everything sucks right now and we've gotten no where. Let's skip to the part where I save everyone's butts and find the solution" Blue jabbled on, being his usual impatient (and rather irritated) self.
Zelda let out an exasperated sigh before continuing,
"As I was sayi-"
"Yes, Blue, you were the oh so amazing hero who saved the day!" Green interrupted sarcastically.
Zelda shot Green an agitated glare (which definitely caught his attention as he immediately started to apologize)
"Ahem, yes boys we get it. Now quite interrupting me and let me finish my sentence dear hylia!" She let out exasperated.
Zelda was not putting up with their crap today.
Green kept his head down shamefully, and Blue just huffed and crossed his arms in annoyance.
"On Blues recent mission of searching the Wind Temple for anything that could prove of value, he found a little something."
She then proceeded to gesture towards Vio, whom stood up from their chair to hold out a glass shard tied to a thread.
"This, is a shard from what was once the dark mirror." Vio stated factually. Vio was trying their absolute best to keep up their usual demeanor of being calm and collected. Of course, they were bubbling up with hope and the fear of loosing that hope on the inside. The glass shard they held was almost precious to them, a chance to bring back their love- er- old friend.
A gasp of air was heard from the group, not just an individual one but the whole of the group all gasped for air at the reveling news.
"Y-you mean.. the mirror that-" Red peeped out.
Vio sat down again and let Zelda do her thing.
"indeed, with this shard we should be able to bring Shadow back."
and with that, they began to truly start their mission,
To bring back Shadow.
