Work Text:
“Oh me, me oh my!” Said Marilyn Selene Krystalin as she skipped through the halls of Momos Academy. “Here I am,” She thought to herself, “Arriving at the prestigious school of Momos Academy— and already the youngest amongst the Student Council!”
As she stepped inside, Prince Gion of Italy came towards her.
“Marilyn,” He spoke, “I love you madly. Please, come to my dorm at midnight.”
Marilyn gasped, “Your Highness! I am not that kind of girl!”
“You’re correct, and I respect you for that.” He turned, giving her a soft smile, “Please, let me take care of your work while I have Livio fetch us some coffee.”
He took her workload and returned to his desk, to where Marilyn stood by. She fidgeted with her skirt while he watched him work through it with ease.
Livio entered the office, holding two cups of coffee.
“Marilyn? What are you doing here by Prince Gion?” He inquired.
“He allowed me to.”
“Understandable. I admire your mind.”
The three stood together, chatting about. The princes gazed at Marilyn, enamoured by her beauty and her softness and her looks.
All except for Ciel, whom showed indifference towards Marilyn and had no interest in coddling her with gaudy words of admiration. In fact, any compliments should be towards him.
Marilyn and Ciel grew to become rivals, often arguing regularly. Then, one day, Ciel approached Marilyn from behind with a boxcutter, stabbing her repeatedly in the heart.
The news on Marilyn’s attempted murder made headlines and Ciel was expelled whilst Marilyn was stricken bedbound to the hospital. Prince Albert, Charles, Prince Leon, Prince Felix, Prince Gion, Livio and Prince Shintarou stood grieving as the heart monitor finally flatlined. They weeped over the lost of her beauty, intelligence and kindness.
To this day, her birthday is a national holiday upon Momosu Island.
