    Summary

Following the aftermath of the Snap, Peter Parker wakes up in a city he has never heard before and a weird glowing stone embedded in his body. Little did he know, he was going to be stuck there much longer than he anticipated. At least he gets to mess with a certain local vigilante and maybe even turn it into something more.

Tim Drake will admit he's inherited some of Batman's traits over the years, but it just so happens he also followed in his footsteps on having messy relationships with people who were borderline criminals. It's not his fault this new vigilante is oddly charming, okay?

    OR

Peter stuck in Gotham City trope with the two of them pinning for each other. The snapped Avengers and Guardians are along for the ride while the Batfam's having the time of their lives making fun of Tim's love life.

This is gold! I live for Spider-Man messing with Tim. And Tim being gone for both Spider and Peter is just chefs kiss! Peter is developing a crush on Red Robin too haahhaa! I cant wait to see more of this! When the Batfam realizes Tim's situaship with Spider and crush on Peter, they're definitely going to blame Bruce for his role-modelling.

The Batfam's relationship with each other is so good too. Ahh.

    Ch - 4

Tim’s instinct was right, the boy really was just someone trying to make a living in Gotham because he could tell he wasn’t from here. Even though he might’ve been a little reluctant, he finally was able to make a breakthrough.

“Who do I contact?” His face is still slightly distrustful, but Tim understands. He did kind of just show up out of nowhere.

He hands over a card with the necessary information, Bruce made sure they all had copies due to most people in this city only doing crimes because it’s their last resort, “Contact the number and put in your information into the listed website. They’ll take care of you from there. Just know for the more hands-on internships where you’ll be handling dangerous material, you’ll need at least a high school diploma or GED and proof of concept that you know what you’re talking about during the interview process.”

The boy looks at him confused, “I don’t need anything else? You're a hundred percent positive.”

“Of course. Obviously there’s a chance of getting denied for one of the higher positions, but Wayne Enterprises sponsors online learning to be accessible to those who can’t afford a higher education. Trust me, you’ll be taken care of one way or another.” Tim knows he might be laying it on thick, but a little voice in his head really wants to see him again. Preferably as Tim Drake rather than Red Robin.

He snorts, “You’re sounding an awful lot like a walking advertisement. You work there or something?” He jokes.

Tim was about to tense, but schooled his reaction, “Yeah, I’m Mister Wayne himself. Heard of me?”

“Isn’t that guy like fifty? That would make this whole situation even weirder if that were true,” obviously picking up on Tim’s sarcasm.

Tim smirks anyways, he has no idea how close that is to the actual truth. As the boy continued double checking the card for the information, Tim realized he forgot one important thing.

    “What’s your name?”

The boy looks up, “I’m surprised it took you this long to ask. Aren’t the Bats known for being incredible detectives? I honestly thought you knew before coming in.”

Tim teases back, “Shame on me for trying to be a gentleman.”

“Gentleman my ass, you’d probably have continued stalking me if I didn’t call you out.”

“I was not stalking just checking—“

    “The name’s Peter.”

    Tim stops, “Peter..?”

“That’s all you’re getting from me Mr. Nosey, I’m sure you can figure out the rest.”

Oh, so that’s how he wants to play it.

    “Is that a challenge?”

“I doubt it. Based on how you talked about Wayne Enterprises, you’d probably have my name logged into your bat systems the second I apply.”

“I mean there could be hundreds of Peter’s, you never know.”

Peter rolled his eyes, but his smile betrayed how he really felt, “Yeah, yeah. Woe is you, it’s going to be so hard to track me down.”

“Oh please, I can figure out who you are in two seconds from a simple face scan.”

“Well, now that’s just cheating,” he pouts. That had no right being as cute as it was.

It took Tim by surprise. A small flush rose under his mask. Seriously, what is up with him today?

    ***

Tim was so confused. He’ll admit he might’ve come off a little aggressive, but he didn’t expect it to lead to… whatever just happened!

Bruce was still shouting in his ear by the time Spider-Man left, but at that point Tim didn’t care. His heart was racing, his cheeks flushed. That was not how that was supposed to go. Tim was supposed to interrogate him and get the answers he’d been searching for during the last month! Not… that!

He saw that Bruce must’ve closed the line once he realized Tim was just humming affirmatives and not actually listening. He’ll deal with that later, but right now he has a much more serious matter to focus on. Like why he completely froze up with Spider-Man! He’s dealt with his fair share of metahuman encounters, especially ones with super strength, but he always manages to turn them in his favor despite having no powers. This, on the other hand, left him stunned.

He thinks that it might’ve been because of how effortlessly he turned the tables. How calm he was. Spider-Man knew he had the situation in the palm of his hand even before he took Tim’s weapon. Tim couldn’t even fight it if he tried. And then he spoke into Tim’s ear…

Spider-Man did kind of seem like he was flirting… Wait no! Why am I thinking like this?!

Tim smacks himself in the face. This is like the stupid Peter thing all over again. He can’t start acting like this every time he finds someone slightly attractive. Steph is getting into his head; he needs to get a grip. He’s a detective, damn it!

He walks over to where his bo staff lay, picking it up. He notices the spider sticky note. He tucks it into a pocket… for later analysis.
