For once in their life, Sonic and Shadow were enjoying a quiet stroll in the park. Both were dressed up, just coming from a dinner date, when Eggman disturbed the beautiful night.
“Mwhahahahah! I’ve finally done it! I resurrected an ancient god to kill Sonic! I will be rid of that blue rat and finally make my-“ Eggman didn’t get to finish before Sonic cut him off and he flew away.
With a sigh, Sonic and Shadow knew they would have to go after Eggman. Grabbing their Chaos Emeralds, they transformed into their Magical Fighting Dresses and went to find him.
He wasn’t wrong. Eggman had ACTUALLY summoned an ancient malevolent god… and Eggman did not realize it was on no one’s side. Before the hedgehogs could do anything, the god crushed Eggman like a bug.
Sonic had always hated Eggman, but she had never wanted to watch him die! Angery toward the god, she drew his attention. But in her state of shock, she wasn’t fast enough.
Eggman was right. He HAD summoned a god that would kill Sonic.
Having lost their concentration, Sonic and Shadow lost control of their magic and landed back on the ground. With the last of her strength, Sonic tries to reassure Shadow that it will be alright, but both of them know it was the end of Sonic.
