Secropes in closet

Summary:

Kara moved as close to Alex's ear as her position allowed and began to whisper softly.

—You always wanted me to hold back my potential, to keep me bound, but who could have known you wouldn't mind seeing me bound in another way? What will dear Mommy say about this? When she finds out her own daughter is going crazy at the sight of her little sister, bound and weakened?

Alex didn't hesitate to answer for a second.

— Younger step-sister.

Kara's smile became even more predatory.

— An important point, if it makes it easier for you to fall asleep at night, after your hands stop wandering in search the release, Alex.

Work Text:

Supergirl was missing. More importantly, Kara was missing.
The last signal indicating the Kryptonian's location had been received 16 hours ago. All the implants embedded in her bulletproof skin switched off at the snap of a fingers. An attempt to forcibly disable them from the outside would have resulted in an explosion and an emergency signal to the DEO headquarters.

However, there was nothing like that, no reports of an explosion, no signal. Alex knew of only one place where the signals from even the most advanced devices on Earth were losing their properties. Fortress of Solitude. If Kara was there, it meant she needed privacy in a place where echoes of her home still remained. A real home. Such thoughts always left a heavy ache in her heart, because for 12 years, Alex had always kept in mind that she had never been able to become that safe oasis for Kara.
At the same time as Supergirl's disappearance, a radioactive trace of a substance similar in chemical composition to kryptonite was causing stress at the DEO headquarters. However, upon closer analysis, it became clear that it had been produced on Earth.

And the strangest thing was its color. A blood-red color that screamed danger. Kara's disappearance and the appearance of the unusual kryptonite couldn't be a coincidence. While Hank organized a search team, Alex was While Hank organized a search team, Alex was restless. She knew where Supergirl was potentially located, but by revealing this information, she would betray the person most important to her. The pendulum of the threat posed by the unknown kryptonite helped swung away from sentimentality, and Agent Danvers made her decision. However, Alex did not have time to take a single step towards the command post, as the image of Kara appeared on all the screens. The recognizable image of the girl of steel in a red skirt and cloak was replaced by a black suit, suspiciously similar to those worn by General Astra's soldiers. The cameras focused on her face, and Alex took a deep breath. Her dark makeup, curls, even curlier than before, and eyes, they had changed the most. The blue of the summer sky gave way to a deep blue with a periodic red tint. There was no doubt the girl on screen was Supergirl, and she was under the influence of red kryptonite, the properties of which are still unknown. The girl of steel hovered above the city, shooting laser beams down the streets, as if directing the sun through a magnifying glass into the very center of an anthill. Alex had to think fast because the protocol on the alien threat was drawn up rigidly and clearly. The chances of the DEO deviating from it, even for Kara's sake, were slim, or rather nonexistent. She searched for John and found him at the far wall of the command center.

— ̶Director Hanshaw!

A scream escaped Alex before she could stop it, she didn't know what she was going to do after. The man turned away from the group of agents and took a step towards Alex.

— Agent Danvers, I was just looking for you. The situation is becoming critical, we need to neutralize Supergirl, her behavior is chaotic and we need to act now, while the effect of surprise is on our side. You, the Agent, should be in the first group, as a familiar face, we can take her out without a large number of victims.

Alex interrupts him in a low whisper.

— John, let me talk to her before you release the entire arsenal the DEO. Please, just a couple of hours, then do what you have to do.

John crossed his arms and shook his head.

— Two hours, Danvers, not a minute more, and you always have to be in touch, is that clear?

— Yes, Director.

Alex turned around and practically ran out of the building. She didn't have a plan, but she knew where to start.

***

Alex entered her apartment, trying to move as quietly as possible. The apartment was empty, and Alex realized she hadn't breathed for some time. She walked to the center of the room and opened the watch on her wrist with the emergency button, a gift from Kara many years ago. She had never needed to use it before, even in a crashing plane, but now the most urgent situation imaginable had occurred. Kara, her cute, step little sister, was in danger.
Alex closed her eyes, and moments of their happiness together flashed before her eyes. How a wide, bright smile illuminated Kara's face, as like she herself were the sun. Shaking head, she raised her hand over the button and pressed it. The sound of her own heartbeat was deafening, but even through it, she heard someone landing on the balcony. Only one human could be there, or rather, not a human.

— I didn't think you'd invite me to such a secluded place, without agents with guns and a pocket Martian.

Kara spoke slowly, emphasizing each word. Her movements were fluid, gaze roaming Alex's body, as like searching for a weak spot. Like a fearsome tiger, she studied her prey, ready to strike at any moment. Only Kara had no plans to attack, not now, she was too calm to pounce. The Kryptonian's eyes glowed. Not with lasers or kryptonite, a different kind of sneaky.

Anticipation, that was what illuminated them. Alex's heart beat faster. She wasn't afraid, never had been afraid of Kara's strength and power. When they were younger, Alex had watched the Kryptonian's displays of power with incredible longing. A mixture of envy and admiration always went hand in hand, but this version of Kara, confident and basking in her own power, stirred up those forgotten feelings Alex had long sworn to bury.
Eliza always said Alex and Kara were sisters. Alex tried to believe it. Kara locked herself in the bathroom in the mornings, preventing her from getting ready. Alex was angry, but she thought they were sisters, like everyone else. Kara went to school with her and scared all her friends away. Alex wanted to scream, but she still thought they were sisters. All sisters were like that. Kara found a friend and spent all her free time with him, finally leaving her alone. Alex grumbled and thought the boy was pathetic, but she thought they were sisters with Kara and that it was her duty as the eldest to protect her from bad guys. All sisters were like that. Kenny was killed, and she and Kara found the killer, like a team, as the sisters as Eliza saw them.
Alex remembered every moment of those difficult, yet in their own way simple, days when they were themselves, truly bonding over their shared grief. When the tears stopped choking, Kara surrendered to the warmth of the body that wrapped around her, as if afraid Alex would disappear just like that. Alex wanted nowhere but in her little sister's warm embrace, feeling the bitter taste in her mouth from the weight of those two words. Little Sister.
With each day spent together, Alex's heart beat faster, filling with life, a thirst for something her young mind couldn't comprehend.

Returning to the present, Alex raised her head.

— I don't need a squad of agents to talk to my little sister.

Kara's face took on a dark expression for a moment, but it quickly turned into a mocking grin.

— Sister? Don't be even more ridiculous and pathetic than you already are. How can someone like you be my equal. The living embodiment of a goddess?

Kara's movements became more abrupt and aimed at Alex, pushing her toward the nearest wall. Alex didn't notice how her back hit the cold concrete and Kara's face was pressed close to her own.

— You've always been afraid of me, Alex.

Kara's head didn't, but her right hand slammed furiously into the wall, centimeters from Alex's face. To her own surprise, Alex didn't even blink. Kara didn't particularly care how Alex reacted.
Maintaining the closeness, the Kryptonian placed her right hand, which had so recently practically destroyed the wall, on Alex's chest, continuing.

— You always tried to hide your emotions, and if I were human, you would have succeeded, but your body's reaction always gave you away.

Kara pressed her hand down a little.

— Every time my abilities broke through, despite all my attempts at control, your heartbeat sounded like an alarm bell in my head, outstanding fear.

If the situation wasn't so absurd, Alex would have laughed. However, there was no laughter now.

— I've never been afraid of you and your powers, Kara.

Kara laughed as if she had heard the funniest thing in the whole world.

— You know, Alex, you work as a secret agent, but you still haven't learned to lie. You were afraid that my powers was beyond your control, because it was chaotic and destructive, everything I touched broke, especially fragile things, and people are extremely fragile creatures.

— You don't know anything about my feelings. It was never a fear of power or whatever you were imagining. I cared about you!

Alex turned her head to the left, trying to move a few centimeters away, breathing deeply. Kara, keeping one hand on her heart, used the other to turn Alex's head, looking into her eyes.

— Then why am I hearing that sound again?

The Kryptonian lowered left hand and brought her face close to Alex's cheek. Kara rested head on Alex's shoulder, nose practically touching her neck. Kara took a deep breath, slowly lifting her head and stopping at Alex ear. Her hot whisper sent goosebumps all over Alex's body, especially as the meaning of words began to sink in.

— If it wasn't fear that made your heart beat so wildly, then what was it, "dear sister"?

The last word was spoken with obvious disdain.

Alex tried for years to forget, why her heart beat only in moments illuminated by Kara. Right now, the memories mocked her with renewed vigor. She remembered all the moments when her blood began to running, when the closeness became almost unbearable. Over the years, she'd learned to cope with her feelings, but not now. Her back was pressed so tightly against the wall it was practically painful, but even so, she couldn't escape the pressure on every centimeters of her body from the Kryptonian, whose skin was hotter than human skin. Alex didn't notice she wasn't breathing until Kara pulled back a few inches, allowing her lungs to greedily gulp in oxygen.
Kara examined Alex's face with more attention than before and grinned.

— You were able to surprise me, I should have guessed earlier that you are not afraid of a big strong Kryptonian who may lose control, you want to take control of her yourself.

Alex forgot again that her body needed air and began to choke. No matter how much she denied it, no matter how hard she ran, Kara was right. She craved control, to hold the power of the Goddess, or the Goddess herself, in her hands. Supergirl glanced at the end of the room, where there was a massive closet, and something clearly caught her attention.

— Alex, be a good girl and bring what you're hiding in the right side of the third shelf of the closet.

The smirk turned into a grin of malicious glee. Alex trembled, whether from what she needed to pull out or from the "good girl". She didn't know.

As if on wooden legs, Alex took ten heavy steps and pulled out the lead box. Kara tapped her foot on the floor, clearly losing her patience. Alex hurried to open the drawer, revealing a coil of rope laced with green particles. Kryptonite rope, she'd been saving it for an emergency she thought would never come.

— Wow, sis, a rope with kryptonite? You have chosen an interesting weapon to protect yourself from the Kryptonian.

Kara used her superspeed and found herself back in Alex's personal space. She placed her hand on the coil of rope and, with a faint hiss, as if burned, snatched it from Alex's grasp. Green strands of kryptonite mingled with the red on Kara's forehead.

— It doesn't even hurt, more like a tickle. Why do you need such a useless thing?"

Alex's face remained frozen in a neutral position, only her treacherous heart betrayed anxiety. Its pounding carried panic from her toes to her head «she knows, she knows, she knows everything and hates her for it». Kara unwound the rope, holding it in her hand and wrapping it around her elbow, forming a wide oval. Kara finished and glanced at Alex, handing over the skein.

— Take it, I think you'll find a use for it.

A smile spread across the Kryptonian's face, almost as bright and warm as before, but nothing was the same as before.

— I don't understand why I need it?

Alex was lost in the sense of danger from the deceptive smile and the outstretched rope.

— Alex, you're a big girl, and this kind of thing in the closet is clearly not for a camping. Realized that flashed through your mind when you look at it and do it, be brave at least once.

Kara spread arms wide, revealing herself.

Alex didn't know what to do. Everything screamed that this was wrong, but the weight of the rope in her hands and Kara's openness here and now knocked out all the fuses. Holding the coil, Alex stepped toward the chair and placed it in the middle of the room, separating herself from the Kryptonian. She leaned against the back of the chair and said calmly.

— Sit down.

Surprise flashed in Kara's eyes, but it quickly gave way to a mischievous glint. She lowered her hands and walked over to the chair.

— What are you trying to do with me, Agent Danvers?

Every word was laced with mockery.

— You told me to be brave, so why are you afraid to turn your back on me? Kara snorted in displeasure, but turned around and sat down on the chair.

Alex hung the rope over the back of the chair and placed her hands on Kara's shoulders. As always, they were warm and firm. Alex ran her hands over her shoulders several times, as if smoothing out a wrinkled sheet. With each stroke, Alex's hands slid further down. When palm reached elbow, Kara abruptly grabbed her right arm.

— Is this really what you want? You're petting me like I'm stroking a dog on a leash.

A dog on a leash. Alex cursed herself for the image the Kryptonian had given her. Kara, with her puppy-dog eyes, tied to a chair, unable to move. Alex jerked her hand away and jumped back. The Kryptonian spun around.

— Relax, I’m not going to bite, unless that’s what you’re looking for.

Kara winked and turned back.

The younger sister, her younger step-sister, under the influence of an unknown kryptonite, sat on a chair, obediently waiting for Alex to use the rope for something other than its intended purpose. The last of her doubts vanished, leaving only determination. Alex unwound several meters of rope and, starting from her collarbone and ending at lower torso, tied Kara to the chair, leaving her legs free. She hadn't looked at the Kryptonian the entire time, and only when finished raise head to appreciate what she'd done. Light knots framed torso, flowing smoothly from one to the next, and finally finishing with a special braid. Her agent training had paid off. Alex felt wetness on her cheeks. She had actually cried at the sight of her little sister, tied up in a chair, clearly desiring everything Alex had to offer. This was all so wrong.

— Come here.

Kara's voice was clear and commanding; even bound and weakened, she radiated strength.

Her legs were too straight to even notice, and she didn't notice how was falled. Opened eyes, she realized that was in Kara's lap. Kara used free legs to pull Alex toward, almost completely laying. Her breath hitched from the sudden fall, but Alex couldn't tear gaze away from the blue eyes so close. Kara moved as close to Alex's ear as her position allowed and began to whisper softly.

— You always wanted me to hold back my potential, to keep me bound, but who could have known you wouldn't mind seeing me bound in another way? What will dear Mommy say about this? When she finds out her own daughter is going crazy at the sight of her little sister, bound and weakened?

Alex didn't hesitate to answer for a second.

— Younger step-sister.

Kara's smile became even more predatory.

— An important point, if it makes it easier for you to fall asleep at night, after your hands stop wandering in search the release, Alex.

Alex froze, she was always careful, Kara couldn't have known.

— You were never quiet. Your heartbeat has taken up residence in my head. The hours between 1 and 2 a.m. are the hardest of the entire day...

Alex interrupted her off and pulled toward, grabbing the rope. Their faces were centimeters apart, their breaths mingling.

— You lack resolve. How many years did you plan to continue hating yourself, me, the boys who dared to approach, the girls who sent me lingering smile...

Alex interrupted again.

— Girls? You never said you liked girls and only dated guys.

— Did you say? Why didn't you tell me about this little secret?

— There weren't any girls, it was just you.

Alex hadn't expected such a confession to come out of her mouth, but it had already reached its destination. Kara looked down, and a sad smile spread across her face.

— Why lie so brazenly? Your friend, what was her name? Becky? Bextory? Bethany?

— Victoria, but we never had anything.

— Keep lying to yourself.

Alex frowned. Something was off about Kara's behavior, even more so than before. The close proximity allowed her to examine the Kryptonian's face in every detail. Her lips were downturned, frowning gaze, the vein pulsing on forehead. Alex pieced it all together. She slowly raised hand and gently touched Kara's cheek.

— Are you really jealous, Kara?

Kara jerked in an attempt to turn away, but the stiffness prevented sudden movements. Alex didn’t need to ask. Now she understood it, all feelings so vicious and dirty, hurt not only her, but also sweet, bright Kara. What kind of monster do you have to be to enjoy the fall of such a bright soul? Tied up and wanting to break everything around from jealousy, the hot body under Alex`s hips was the most exciting sight in her life. Alex put her hands through the free space of the rope and pulled with such force that it seemed capable of breaking them.

Alex, still pulling on the ropes, as if wanting to get even closer, bit into the soft lips with a sharp and rough kiss. The response didn't take long to come, and the taste of bursting sun filled her mouth. Thirst drove in every movement, in every absorbed sound. Once again, Alex hated the weak human body, which needed air to live, and pulled away. Kara's vision clouded over, giving her darkened eyes an even more deadly charm, like an element hidden in a crystal ball. She tried to pull herself toward Alex's lips, but the ropes prevented her from closing the remaining distance. A disgruntled whine escaped her, now truly like a dog on a leash whose chain wasn't long enough to tear its prey apart.

— Take off this damn rope!

Kara has never been known for patience. Alex stroked the Kryptonian's head, as if comforting a child.

— If you want something, ask politely, or are higher beings not taught simple rules?

Kara's eyes flashed lasers for a moment, but a second later, pain shot through her body from the kryptonite woven into the threads. She then decided to try luck with physical strength, but the rope was too strong, leaving her dissatisfied and breathing heavily. Alex felt conflicting emotions: triumph at seeing Kara so human, and excitement at being completely at her mercy. She pulled Kara closer to her by the ropes again, remaining out of reach. Alex was agent, and her ability to wait was more developed than the Kryptonian's.

No more greedy kisses. She'd already shown too much emotion. Now waited to see what her most beloved being would do. Did Kara yearn to falled as deeply as Alex? Kara stared directly at Alex's lips, pondering. After a few seconds, she looked up and met the amber whirlpool. The Kryptonian moved a little closer, as far as the rope would allow.

— You should have done this years ago, Alex. Take responsibility for destroying me for anyone else in universe. There is only you, there has always been only you.

Alex didn't know what to say. Words she'd never dared dream of came from Kara's lips, words that mirrored her own, and she was unprepared for them. Suddenly, Alex felt the warmth of a hand on her cheek. In shock, she hadn't even noticed that Kara had managed to free her right hand. Alex leaned into the touch and closed her eyes. Any resolve not to kiss Kara senseless was gone. She was afraid to leave the protective darkness and face the reality of what was happening. The hand on her cheek pressed harder, and Alex felt the pressure. Kara pulled Alex toward her, capturing her lips with an equally passionate kiss. She didn't open her eyes, allowing the darkness to carry her away into its depths of sensation. Soft lips, a warm tongue, and sharp teeth that pierced her skin, filling the space between them with coppery liquid. A harsh beep on her communicator shattered their small vacuum.

— Time's up. All DEO units will be here in 10 minutes. If you don't want to get caught, you should leave now.

Kara breathed heavily, her gaze lost, not fully comprehending what had just happened.

̶— And...what if I don't want to leave?

The hesitation and hesitation in her words were so reminiscent of the old Kara. Alex was lost in her own thoughts about the old and new Kara, unable to figure out how to reconcile them. However, now was not the time for such thoughts.

— Then stay.

Alex rose from Kara's lap, feeling the loss of warmth.

— I need to tie you up again.

Kara leaned back in her chair and turned toward the window, clearly losing interest in the proceedings. Alex replaced the rope and tightened it a little tighter.

As soon as she finished, the door collapsed with a stunning sound. Agents quickly filled the room, led by John. He examined Alex for injuries and approached the bound Kara.

— You did well, Agent Danvers. We'll handle the rest ourselves.

John called several agents and pulled kryptonite-laced cuffs from his belt. Kara didn't resist arrest and, clasping her hands, accepted the cuffs. As she was leaving the apartment, she stopped and, turning to the frozen Alex, said only one thing.

— Don't forget to tell Eliza what you did to her beloved daughter.

None of the agents understood what the Kryptonian was saying. It was meant for Alex. The weight of guilt for the kisses and for turning herself in to the authorities warred within her, and only night would she allow herself to be buried under their oppression. Now Alex could only watch her heart go away to a place from which it might never return.
