    Henry’s eyes followed the trail of discarded sheets and stained scraps of cloth.

    “Don’t you fucking move!”

    The shout came from the far end of the room. He froze in place as commanded, slowly lifting both hands in the air and turning to face the man properly. There, tucked into the corner, draped loosely in a blanket and bleeding where he’d torn at his bandages, sat the man with his back pressed against the wall. A single trembling hand was outstretched towards Henry, and in it, a gun.

    Life on the frontier hasn't always been kind to Henry, but he's managed to carve out a meager, solitary peace over the years. He has his bow, his horse, and his Mutt. What more could he need?

    After stumbling across the scene of an ambush, he discovers a lone survivor. And whether he's one of the victims or a hapless perpetrator, Henry's not sure. But the man's life hangs in the balance, and he has a choice to make.
