Work Text:

Reinhardt raced back to headquarters, with Ana, Sierra, and Cassidy following. Wuyang watched from the tower railing, too late to retreat with his team. Alone on the fortress, he set his staff down, checked to stay undetectable, and wiped sweat from his brow, anxiety mounting at the thought of discovery.
He sneaked towards the doorway, looking to lose himself deeper in the castle. He glanced over his shoulder.
Nothing. All clear. He forced himself to think in military phrases, suppressing his fear.
He dragged his staff slowly along his feet, making sure it wouldn't activate to make a sound. He walked ahead, feet as steady as the tip-toe practice Anran ran him through years ago, at his parents' dojo.
He reached the end of the hallway, where he was to descend the stairs to a lower floor. Wuyang was clueless as the masked figure, donned in a circular hat, lurked behind him.
Mizuki. An ally of the small group of resistance against the Hashimoto.

He lurched his chain, grasping it slowly as Wuyang was observing the lower deck. He decided it was time. He lurched his chain forward, crashing against the millennia-old wooden floor. As Wuyang snapped back, his eyes lucid with fear, the chain clasped around his ankle and pulled him towards the ground. Wuyang thudded towards the ground, groaning in disbelief as Mizuki walked over. The chain climbed over to his arms, clasping his hand before he could reach his staff. A mistful, grey aura sneaked out of the chains, stifling the air around the already struggling Wuyang.
"I didn't think catching an Overwatch agent would be so easy". Mizuki adjusted his hat for a better look at the chained hero.
"You don't know what you're dealing with, I'm not," he lurched his head up to meet the masked vigilante's eyes. "Not the one you want," he hissed through his teeth, despite his voice pitching higher at every syllable. He set his sights down and pleaded lowly. "Please."
"But you're exactly the one I want".
Mizuki threw his hand forward, closing his fingers in a fist as the chains followed his command, lifting Wuyang up onto his knees. The steel chain dug into his shoulders and thighs, sweat trickling past the misty aura originating from the shackles.

The chains dug deeper into his neck as he gasped out of fright. Mizuki dragged his heels towards the ground, closing the distance between the captured and the captor.
"I don't think your team's coming back with you. So much so for the ‘comeback’”
"Let me go, Mizuki," he managed to gasp. "You don't know what you're doing, you're confused, trust me".
The chains grasped him tighter, and Wuyang let out a pained groan.
"You either spill what Overwatch is planning in Hashimura, or these chains will choke you down to death, Wuyang".
He glared deeper into the wet eyes of Wuyang, heaving through his shirt.
The air fell silent around them. Even Wuyang heaved slower as, perhaps, he slowly accepted his inevitable fate inside his mind. That, now, at the hands of a Hashimoto double agent and Talon ally, he was forever lost to him.
To Mizuki, all he saw in front of him was an agent. An agent with information. With a demeanour and a face so easy to make use of. He concluded that only threat was enough to break the sweaty, doe-eyed agent into pieces. In turn, the ghosts that lurked on his back and floated behind the talismans on his hat would disappear forever.
Mizuki reached his hand and unequipped his mask. The sickly, old air hit his throat instantly. He made the mistake of glancing down at the agent, whose face had slightly unfurrowed as he looked at Mizuki's face.
"Look, just let me go. Why- why don't you ask Overwatch for help? Or whatever you're looking for, I'm sure we could help-"
"Just shut up already"
Wuyang pursed his lips together.

Mizuki stuffed his mask into his belt and kneeled down to Wuyang. He pushed his glare deeper into the quivering agent, who apparently didn't know what to do when being non-conversationally threatened by an enemy. Mizuki reached up to his hat, tore off a paper talisman off with indescribable writing, and ran it over Wuyang's forehead slowly. Wuyang gulped deeply. The talisman slowly soaked up sweat.
Mizuki threw the talisman paper away, running his gloved hand from his forehead down to his brows, reaching down to his sideburns, then tracing his jaw to the middle of his chin, right beneath his pursed lips.
"Are- Are you going to let me go?", Wuyang managed to whisper out.
"You're making me think about it."
"I'll really, really do anything, because if you see, I actually just got into Overwatch and like- my sister really wants me to- mmpf!??"
Mizuki grabbed his mouth in a singular motion. The overwatch agent turned red and wide-eyed.
"You'll do anything?" Mizuki raised his eyebrows and turned in closer.
The Overwatch agent bluffed off a response underneath Mizuki's hand.
"Fine. Then you won't mind if I do this"
He dropped his hand and pulled the chain around his neck closer, closing the distance between their lips.
