Chapter Text
“Up!” Mitsuki picked Katsuki up from the booster that he sat on inside the car, as Katsuki let out a muffled squeal, and she held him against her chest.
“Hey, Mitsuki, for you.” Masaru picked up the envelope from the mailbox. “Ohhh… for me…!” She picked the envelope from her husband's hands. “Ohhh… business letter.” She sighed before Katsuki plucked the letter out of her hand. “Letter?” He mumbled before trying to open it. “Yes, Katsuki, letter.” She pried his hands away from the letter.
“Why you get letter?” He grumbled as he tried to reach out again. “I got a letter because they wanted to give me a letter, Katsuki.” She watched as his face scrunch up. “No!” He whined. Masaru looked over, confused. “No! No! Not fair! Why you get a letter and not me!” Katsuki started to cry.
“…” Both adults looked at each other, confused. “…You’ll get a letter. Just… later? Maybe from Inko, yeah? Maybe from… um… Izuku?” Masaru picked Katsuki up from Mitsuki’s hold. “You’ll just have to check every day!” Mitsuki said, trying to cheer her crying son up. “Check?” He wiped his face. “Yeah. Check the mailbox every day. Maybe you’ll get a letter soon.”
Katsuki sniffled before rubbing his snot-covered face into Masaru’s shirt. “Yeah.. I do that!”
