    "In that moment of comforting Jason, Dick had also realised something, that Jason was a good kid. Evident with him just wanting to help people in the only way he can, and he didn’t deserve the treatment Dick was giving him before.

    And thus, Dick swore to himself right then and there and he would be a better brother to Jason. Be there for him and just hang out."

     

    Or, Dick actually cared about Jason and loved hanging out with him, so when Jason dies, he grieves and doesn't take shit from Bruce or Tim ^^
