Chapter Text
Amir had made his way to where the Drifter now lived. His eyes trailed along the outmarkings that Entrati left behind the backroom of another clothing store.
Rough scratches on the floor that were mixed with swirls, and blue iridescent glow that pulsated. Carvings that were sprawled out across the floor leading to the golden door. Mystical, as the promise that brought him to this mess. The same promise that he grew to learn, that he promised everyone.
He didn't touch it, not wanting to feel how permanent those etches in the concrete were. How everything that revolved around Entranti was becoming another etch in an interconnecting web. Different traces of him that have changed her life, his life, and everyone around him.
His eyes would eventually drag along the floor noticing that there were a few racks of old dusty clothing here, as well as opened boxes that had been emptied years ago. The place looked cleaner, as he walked further down the hallway.
His eyes didn't linger much longer after feeling the warmth that was radiating from the golden mechanical door. Amir watched the mystic blue glow that relaxed into a heavy transparent energy before heading through. He could feel the gentle push of energy that both accepted, and pushed him while he went through the door.
The heavy energy that blurred the interior of the room became clearer, as he stepped inside. He saw just how much this place became theirs. How the Drifter transformed this place with the culture of their own with elements scattered with objects from 1999.
Amir looked around in amazement, as he walked along he became memorized with each step he took. He saw memories of their conversations (and others) reappear bringing life to each object. The careful altars she made, flowers they've collected, and books containing stories old enough to be remembered as myths. He found himself looking up trying to find the spinning lights that were being casted.
Still the dancing light that outlined shapes with a pink purple hue distracted him. They were like stars trying desperately, as his guiding hand to see how well he knew her. How well could he remember the brief mentions of her gods when her, and Lettie spoke. What about this drawing could he pull from her? She had scrubbed the place clean, and she was everywhere now. In a sense she was everywhere, yet nowhere until now.
Their own home trapped somewhere along the void of everything else it has captured. Even if it was a mindplace. It was trapped there, and she occasionally visited it.
