Chapter Text

So Peter has been trying to teach Steve, Bucky, Thor, and Loki slang…it’s been…interesting. You’re mostly against it.

Steve and you are having a discussion about a recent mission, it’s kinda just a disagreement. But what Steeve has learned from his last disagreement (Cough Cough civil war) he has made a habit of taking breaks before things get heated.

“But, Cap.” You start.
“Bye, Felicia.” He says seriousness, taking a breath.
“What-”
“You heard me.”

In his defence, Peter did tell him it was a way to dismiss someone. So now you’re staring at him, trying to not burst out laughing.

“Okay, okay.” You press your lips together but can’t hide the upward twitch as you walk away.

You can distantly hear Steve say,
“Did I slang right?” and when you glance back, you see Bucky giving a confused thumbs up.

—-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tony made a new suit for Peter to update it a bit because Peter got taller and added some safety features.

Peter was currently trying it on and was wearing it in the kitchen.
“Youre vibe is low-key giving, Tonyson.” Thor says and you choke on your drink.
“I’m sorry, what?” Tony says with wide eyes, having picked up some slang from you, Peter, and Morgan.

“I believe my brother is trying to say that Peter’s new suit is slaying.” Loki adds and Peter giggles.

“Ohmigosh, what the actual fuck?” You mutter, leaving the room.

“Language!” Tony calls back, it had been a running gag among the team for a while.
“Shut up!”
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Natasha tried baking with Bruce. Bruce may be an amazing scientist, but apparently baking is not his thing.

“You two are failing at aura farming.” Bucky deadpans as he watches flour get everywhere.

“Ohmigosh, please stop trying to use modern slang.” You groan, burying your head in your hands.

“I’m not that much of an unc that I can’t understand it, kid.” He retorts, absolutely doing it on purpose now.

“Frfr.” Peter says from the ceiling. You jump, often forgetting that he does that now.
“Peter! I’m gonna kill you.” You groan.

“You can try.” He grins.

—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You’re currently on a mission, it’s somewhat minor. As minor as an Avenger level threat can get.

“Cap, Yeet Mjölnir!” Thor says, waving his arms. He can summon the damn thing, why did he want Steve to throw it?

“Please not now, guys!” You groan. The alien you were fighting even pauses at your exasperated tone.

“Peter, this is your fault.” You mutter.
“Yep.” You can’t see it, but you can practically hear his grin.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Peter is ranting at the kitchen table about how he embarrassed himself at school by tripping over air in front of Flash.

“You’re cooking, Pete.” Bucky nods sympathetically. You groan for what feels like the third time today.

“Bucky, remember the pot. You want to be holding the pot, not in it. Peter is in the pot.” You explain with a deadpan expression and Peter breaks into a grin.

“Still haven’t killed me~” He taunts
“Bruh.”
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Peter is trying to lie his way out of getting in trouble with Tony.

“And it flew into my science class, I didn’t ditch, I had to do something.”
“Cap.” You mutter.
“Hm?” Steve looks up from his book.
“Not you.” You groan.

“Doesn’t that mean he’s lying?” Tony asks.
“Yes.” You say at the same time that Peter says,
“No!”

Tony sighs and throws his hands up in the air as he walks away, mumbling something about
“Being too young for grey hairs.”
