Chapter Text
In a large master bedroom Rem wakes up from a pleasant dream in the early hours of the morning. Somewhere around 5am.
”Good morning honey- Oh, this time he’s actually awake, out of bed too. That’s a rare occurrence. But it’s neither his nor my birthday. What could be the occasion.” Rem says to herself as she stretches before getting out of bed, slipping out of a blue nightgown before putting on her maid uniform.
“Where could he be though. Whenever he does wake up before me he normally puts out a note on where he went or what he’s doing. Something’s up.” Rem mutters the last part to herself before exiting the master bedroom and into a long hallway and a number of doors.
“Might as well check his office.” She quietly makes her way through the halls, not wanting to accidentally wake the others that call this palace home. Reaching a door labeled “Sinclair’s Office”, she knocks a few times, getting no response she finds the room empty.
”Not here either… maybe he’s making breakfast?” She passes by a larger door, stopping to look at it for a moment. “He’s probably awake and I could maybe ask him, but I don’t want to disturb him if he isn’t.” She stays there for a moment before deciding not to knock and head towards the kitchen. Finding it just as empty as the office.
”Something is clearly going on here. Maybe he’s in the backyard using the practice dummies. I suppose I can check it out, if he’s not there then I suppose I’ll see if he’s seen Sinclair anywhere.
Once again Rem leaves another part of the palace, this time a little more quicker this time. “It shouldn’t be that big of a deal but he’s almost never up this early, and if he is he normally just has to go to the bathroom.”
As Rem approaches the door to the backyard she can see someone outside, kneeling down.
