Summary
Sasuke Uchiha hadn’t always been alone.
Once upon a time, he led an idyllic life. Money was never an issue, to say the least. He traipsed around Manhattan without a care, facing issues only of the picturesque, intangible kind. He was a student of the most selective major at Konoha College, studying Classics among an equally pretentious cohort. He even had the perfect roommate, a blond idiot with whom he shared an apartment in the West Village.
But Sasuke harbored a self-destructive streak. So when his classmates suggested reviving a ceremony of empires past, it was only natural that he dove headfirst.
Now Sasuke resides in a shitty studio, all alone. He's cut off his friends and eviscerated his ties to Naruto. It's a miserable existence, but for what he's done, perhaps misery is all he deserves. If only Naruto would quit his meddling and stop trying to uncover what Sasuke knows he must hide.
