I had said that to Odysseus ten years ago.
And for ten years, I have not been able to sleep. Ever since he became my student. I rediscovered my former self, little by little, through my time with him—witnessing his antics where he defied the odds to avoid disaster, and his moments of daring, pure genius; through his quietest moments, where I guided him step by step, and his most turbulent ones, where he acted with or without me, and I would step in to scold him, praise him, or share my wisdom.
