delilah ran away from her smoke break. yeah, RAN from her smoke break and magazine read to arthur’s office. it was important as hell right now.
”ARTHUR!! MICHAEL JACKSON’S IN OUR TOWN!!”
”…What.”
”DO I NEED TO REPEAT MYSELF?? MICHAEL JACKSON’S IN OUR TOWN RIGHT NOW.”
”…Do we tell the toons about it…?”
”ARTHUR. I’D BE DEAD RIGHT NOW IF HE JUST CAME INTO GARDENVIEW. HOW ON GOD’S GREEN EARTH ARE YOU NOT FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW.”
”I’m telling the toons about this.”
arthur left his office, going over to the elevator. delilah followed very closely behind him, giddy and trembling with excitement. this is the most emotion she’s ever shown in a long long time.
“How do you even know that he’s gonna be coming here…?”
”BECAUSE, HE’S ALL CHILDISH AND CUTIE PIE AND THERES NO AMUSEMENT PARKS HERE SO THERES A HUGE CHANCE HE’S COMING TO GARDENVIEW!!”
”…Cool.”
they leave the elevator, and 5 reps of delilah screaming later, every toon knows that michael jackson’s coming. even the event toons. they probably won’t be able to see him unless there’s some kind of miracle that let them go up and out of their offtime bedrotting. the easter toons definitely knew about it though, especially bassie, she loved michael jackson and maybe even more than delilah.
