Chapter Text
255 AC
"Tytos Lannister", aka Philippe IV of France and Navarre, known as 'Le Bel' or the Iron King - married firstly Jeyne Marbrand (a) and has issue:
- Tywin Lannister, born 242AC, is not yet betrothed or promised to anyone. His father is considering and weighing his options, asking for Tywin's input and own thoughts - the Redwynes, the Plumms, the Penroses and many others are options the two favour.
- Kevan Lannister, born 244AC, has been secretly betrothed to Rohanne or Cerelle Tarbeck - who are under Philippe's 'care'. He has only insinuated that a match between an 'heir of the Rock' and one of the girls is possible, the Reynes and Tarbecks believe it is Tywin (it isn't).
- Genna Lannister, born 245AC, her betrothal to Emmon Frey has been annulled and completely forgotten. Philippe has made several requests for this to be confirmed not only in writing, but something called a 'papal bull' (none in Westeros have ever heard of such a term). Not only to be confirmed by the High Septon, but for it to be sealed with the official stamp, and for it to be made public. There are negotiations for Genna's betrothal to Steffon Baratheon - although Ormund and Rhaelle had worried that Genna's betrothal to Emmon was legally binding and considered 'marriage', and so Philippe has offered to not only raise the dowry but to also find yet another bride for Ormund's younger brother Harbert. Luckily for Philippe, he has many cousins, nieces and nephews.
- Tygett Lannister, born 250AC, not currently betrothed or promised to anyone - but his father has his eye on a few grand heiresses. Following the marriages his four sons back in his true world made, he plans to follow the same plan and scheme here. Philippe does not want a son who remains in the shadows and becomes nothing but a poor copy of his brothers and sisters, and his education is that of a princely manner, which has allowed Tygett to slowly come out of his shell and find his own feet even if he isn't as intellectually talented like Tywin or Kevan.
- Gerion or 'Gerion Robert' Lannister, born 255AC, is the penultimate child of Philippe - one who reminds him of his youngest boy, Robert, who had died far too young and had been the only of his sons suited for ruling. For all Tywin and Kevan are promising and great, Philippe has a soft spot for his youngest son - he can see Robert in his bright emerald eyes, in his soft golden curls. Gerion-Robert's name has raised eyebrows as two names for a child is not practiced or well known in Westeros, and yet the boy is referred to as Garobert... a compromise of sorts for Philippe's preference for the eloquent French. Gerion has a promising betrothal, and will likely succeed his father in his Webber lands - he's betrothed to a distant Osgrey cousin, who is descended from Rohanne Webber's wedding to Eustace Osgrey which resulted in a single daughter, Alysanne.
- Isabelle (Ysabel, Ysa, Belle, Isol), born 255AC, as the younger twin of Gerion. She is undoubtedly her father's favourite child, just as his beloved Isabelle had been his most cherished treasure in his other life... the moment the infant had been placed in his arms, her sharpness and loud, fierce wails had not been of a lion, but of a Capetian ruler. Philippe sometimes wonders if perhaps his Ysa has returned to him in this life too, the only one of his children he had been proud of... this child will be the grandest of them all, he will get a crown for her future.
