In the world there’s about 4,3 billion people, 20% of the population is people who have powers ranging from strong powers like: super strength, super speed and mind control to not so strong powers like: cleaning abilities and cooking abilities. The other 80% of the population are powerless people with no abilities.
Powered people are often arrogant and selfish because they are sought out by the government, company’s and businesses. Which often makes them feel above everyone else, especially those who have stronger abilities. While people without powers are often looked down upon by powered people due to the lack of powers.
It was about 70 years ago when powered people started showing up around the world, it started as few hundred people at first and then more and more people started getting powers. Some people used them for good while others used them for bad things and that is how heroes, villains and vigilantes came to be.
Some people think the gods were the ones who gave people powers while others don’t, they just think it’s mutated DNA and genetics. The gods are known as DreamXD god of creation and dreams, GeorgeHD god of destruction and nightmares, Kristen goddess of death and the blood god god of blood. These are the known gods of the world and the gods worshipped in the church of prime.

The day was going by so slowly, and standing behind the counter making coffee after coffee, while listening to rude comments from customers about their drinks being made wrong was suffocating to say the least.
Dream let out a sigh of exhaustion and began to take the order of women in front of him. Her order was a matcha latte with a blueberry muffin and a chocolate chip cookie. Dream made the matcha latte and retrieved the muffin and cookie putting them in a small paper bag before handing it all to the woman in front of him.
The woman thanked Dream before she left out of the cafe door. Dream mentally prepared himself for the next 6 hours of work at the cafe because as much as he wanted to quit, he couldn’t due to the need for money to pay off his bills every month.

It was now 9 PM in the evening and customers weren’t coming in much, considering the late hour and the villains that come out at night. So business was pretty slow right now but it was nice and quiet for Dream. He lets a content sigh and busied himself with cleaning up a mess left by a customer.
There were a few coffee spills here and there so Dream cleaned it up so he wouldn’t have to do it later. After cleaning up Dream went back behind the counter and started to put more coffee beans in the espresso machine and just completed tasks as they come and go.
A few minutes later the bell above the cafe door rings and two people step inside “welcome to the… “ Dream says in his customer service voice before looking up at the two before he freezes for a second “…blanket brew cafe, what can I get you..” Dream says in a strained voice with a strained smile.
The two people in front of Dream are none other than the infamous supervillains Blade and zephyrus. Blade is towering and broadly built. He has long pink hair that is braided loosely and
He wears a gold crown adorned in jewels. Blade’s outfit consists of a white button up with red fabric tied around his waist, a red cape with white fur at the collar and some black dress pants with brown leather boots with a dead boar mask.
Zephyrus has jaw length blonde hair with a green and white striped bucket hat that has a black shimmering veil. Zephyrus wears a green jinbei with a shimmering black veil, a black haori with a white diamond shaped pattern at the bottom. He also wears traditional Japanese wooden sandals and has big black wings on his back. They are both from the famous villain group known as the Syndicate which is known for their crimes and their powers.
Dream stares at the two supervillains as the scan the menu until they are both ready to order. “I’ll have a cup of earl gray and he’ll have a flat white” Zephyrus says with a calm voice. Dream nods “Mhm great, can I have a name for the order” says Dream in the best customer service voice he can manage.
Blade snorts at that and Zephyrus chuckles slightly and says “Zephyrus, but im sure you’ve heard of me” Dream thoughts were running at 120 miles an hour “yeeeah I have …I’m gonna go get those drinks done” Dream says with an edge in his voice. As Dream busied himself making the tea and coffee, he looks like he’s one step away from a mental breakdown.
Zephyrus looks amused by Dreams behavior around them, it’s like watching a scared animal try to act normal. Dream on the other hand looks increasingly more stressed by every tick of the clock. Dream finished the the earl gray and started to move on to the flat white.
“Are you okay there?” Zephyrus asked, framing the question as an innocent one but Dream can hear the playfulness in Zephyrus tone of voice. It’s like he was toying with Dream. “Yep.. totally fine” but there’s a strain in Dreams voice that tells them otherwise.
Blade looks at Dream with his intimidating red eyes “doesn’t sound like you are fine” Blade says with skepticism in his tone. Dream turned around with a strained smile and nodded to the supervillains before turning back to the flat white and finally finishing the coffee with some coffee art.
Dream turned around again with the tea and coffee in hand and setting it on the counter that’s between them all. “That’ll be 8 dollars and 55 cents please” Dream said while desperately trying to keep his composure.
Zephyrus looks amused at Dreams behavior while Blade looks mostly indifferent with a hint of amusement in his facial expression. And Dream looks like he wants to cry or scream probably the one that takes less effort to do right now.
Blade hands Dream a fifty dollar bill and then says “Keep the change as a tip or whatever” Blade says in a gruff tone.’Holy F/ck’ Dream thinks to himself while his facial expression is that of shock and bewilderment.
Dream looks between Blade and Zephyrus shock still evident on his face and in his body language. “Are you sure that you don’t want me to give you back your change?” Dream says still a bit nervous and spooked standing in front of supervillains.
His heart is beating fast and his breath is bit shaky, but Dream tries his best to keep his composure and not freak out, even if he’s dying on the inside as of right now. Blade takes a sip of his flat white and says “not bad, like I said keep the change” meanwhile Zephyrus flashes Dream a playful smile “yeah mate keep it as a tip for your great service” Zephyrus says with his British accent.
“Great… thanks” Dream says his voice still a bit strained due to fear and anxiety. “This has to be a nightmare or something, because I don’t think I can handle another minute in here with f/cking villains” Dream mutters und his breath.
Zephyrus leans on the counter “did you say something” he says playfully threatening Dream.
Dream tenses up a bit at Zephyrus playful but threatening tone and Blade’s cold threatening stare. Dream can feel himself regretting every single life choice he ever made and wishing he could disappear into the floor.
“No… it.. was nothing… I… it was nothing” Dreams voice is even more stained than before and his hands are hurting from how hard he is clenching his fists, leaving crescent shapes into his palms.
Dream swears he is about to combust from the amount of stress he is currently experiencing and he is also sweating bullets cause of how nervous he is. Dream thinks he is absolutely going insane he can barely hold on to his own sanity and his legs are shaking.
“Good” is all Blade says which is way more threatening sounding than anything else he could have said in this conversation. Dream looked like he was about to pass out with how pale he is and how much he was sweating.
“This has been great and all but we have to go now” Zephyrus said in a fairly normal tone before adding “but well be back soon” that was Zephyrus said before they turned to the door and opened it.
A few moments after they left Dream sagged onto the counter to keep him from falling to the ground. He was trying to breathe properly but his mind was racing and he couldn’t breathe properly so Dream had to lean on the counter for support.
“What in the name of prime just happened” Dream asked to no one in particular, the only sound that came was the hiss of the espresso machine. Dream took a few minutes to take deep breaths before calming down from whatever just happened a few minutes ago was.
“Calm down Dream it’s going to be okay” he said to himself in the attempt to fully calm down. Dreams mind was running at 500 miles an hour thinking about everything that had happened and about how they were coming back the the cafe.
There’s still 40 minutes left of his shift and he just wants to go home and sleep. Dream sighs and spends the rest of his shift doing nothing but think about his bed until he cleans and closes the cafe at 10 pm.

On walk (yes walk cause Dream is too broke to afford a car) home to Dreams crappy apartment he just stares at ground in front of him in hope of time going faster. But it doesn’t seem to work for him.
By the time he gets home from the cafe it’s 10:17 pm and he’s exhausted from the day’s events and so on. He walks up the stairs to the 3rd floor and goes to 4th door to the left and unlocks the door to get inside.
Dreams apartment is small but comfortable and cozy. It has a beige couch and a black coffee table and a large bookshelf with books and small trinkets and a dining table with four chairs. It has a small but practical kitchen and a small bathroom with a small bedroom.
Dream goes to the kitchen and gets a snack to eat. He eats the food before going to the bathroom to brush his teeth. Dream changes his clothes to pajamas Before getting in bed and going to sleep.
Dream has a hard time falling asleep partly because of the headache he acquired and partly because of the stress from what happened with the 2 Syndicate members today. It takes a little longer before Dream is knocked out cold.
Everything is peaceful now as the night grows darker and the safety of being in one’s own bed and sleeping soundly.
