   Summary

After the loss of Bruce during Operation Peregrine, Cassandra Cain, Stephanie Brown, and the rest of the Bat-Family are left to pick up the pieces of a tattered and increasingly dangerous Gotham City.

Cassandra and Stephanie are faced with divided loyalties as they navigate new dynamics and conflicts within their storied relationship, going from inseparable "best friends" to something much more complicated and murky, treading the expansive waters between friends and lovers through several ups and downs, least of which has them nearly embracing or rejecting each other entirely. Will they finally get over their hang-ups and get it together, or does fate have other plans?
