   Summary

   Power is a curious thing. It resides where men believe it resides, it is a trick, a shadow on the wall.

   After losing his temper during his confrontation with Lucerys Velaryon at Storm's End, Aemond Targaryen deals with the aftermath, watching his relationships with his closest family fall apart as he continues to fight for their cause. Aemond has been preparing for this war his entire life, but the one thing nothing could have prepared him for is meeting two beautiful, unique and remarkable women.
