Summary
Ren Kubo is a man in his late thirties pushing forty who doesn't want to think about it. Honestly, he doesn't want to think about much these days- his life is work, home, sleep, repeat, save for when he actually has time to engage in his hobbies of cooking and going to restaurants. His quirk has caused him problems his whole life, from his parents pushing him to be a pro hero, to his boss being frustrated that he can't fully keep it under control. All he wanted was a quiet peaceful life, but it seems even that's out of his grasp. Could a chance meeting with a new friend be the push he needs to turn his life around?
"His Hero" Is a MHA Fanfic that Mostly follows the canon timeline of MHA. There are some changes to characters, relationships, and in universe scenes that I will mention as they come up. This fic pretty much focuses entierly on Ren's POV and his reactions to things from interacting with Toshinori- so assume if it happens on TV or he's told, he knows about it, but otherwise would be as in the dark as other civillains about what's happening in hero circles.
This is a Toshinori Yagi/OC fic first and foremost! I might? Write other pairings in the background? who knows.
