Ri is not a betting man by any means; he vastly prefers to operate with certainty rather than in a more risky fashion. Though risk is always a part of his job, he’s survived for so long by making careful choices when he has the liberty of mulling them over.
“Usually, yes,” Kon says. How presumptuous. “And, everyone likes to have things to hold over others, don’t they?”
Or: Ri reluctantly gets pulled into Kon's antics. This has consequences for the both of them, though mostly unexpected ones.
