March, 22nd 1987
The sound of Wills alarm flooded the room. He didn’t want to open his eyes it was to early, to bright. Today felt like any other boring day that repeated over, and over again, but it wasn’t. It was Wills 16th birthday.
It was to quiet for a birthday morning. Usually his mom would be storming into his room pulling him by the arm to eat the traditional Byers birthday breakfast, instead all he was met with once he went downstairs was a measly little note.
Me and hop went out for a while, there some money on the counter buy a pizza.

Will always saw the good in things, always gave everyone the benefit of the doubt so that exactly what he did this time even though it has becomes increasingly harder to make excuses.
“They will do something later, they always do.” Will says to himself grabbing his backpack and running out the door. He was about to go grab Janes bike too, wait for her to finish getting ready, then he remembered she stayed the night at Mikes, she’s been doing that a lot lately.
