Chapter Text

Flux walked through the halls at school. Today was oddly better than he thought. No loud noises, no students bickering, no teachers yelling. You could say it was a perfect peaceful school. But actually it was because exam week was this week. And students have a big exam of every subject, and that means students are either really studying or just doing nothing and let there pen's decide there fate for this year. But, luckily for him he enjoyed studying alone. Where it was just him and those books he borrowed from the library. He couldn't let his grades fall, he wanted to be first in class.

As he walked through every hall his steps calm against the cold tile floor of the school. He couldn't count how many time's he went to that specific library on campus. The library was like the second home for him. He was constantly there reading, it was the perfect place for him to just read. Him and a pile of architecture books and art ones pile high on his table like it always is. He could read an entire book in just 3-4 days.

Teachers usually loves flux's dedication on knowledge. He was quite a nerd to be honest. A handsome nerd. He was the typical handsome guy with the brains for everything. He couldn't solve a math equations within minutes, which was impressive. If he wasn't president in school he would have been an Escort, on how everyone envy's his looks and brains. Like someone with pale white skin, raven hair, and amethyst eyes that looked mesmerizing underneath the sun. A total Escort perfect boy. Though he was president, his best friend Thomas was v-president.  They almost run the school at this point.

The door opened, as he step foot in the library once again. He scanned how many people where there and each book section he needed to study. His eyes landed on a specific section about history in architecture. And that quickly caught his eye. He walked closer scanning each bookshelf for the book he was looking. There where so many books. Some in shelves, on the table, and in un-opened boxes filled with books.

His hand brushed along the books one by one. As he slowly read the contents of the book. He did it on repeat. Taking a book out, reading it and placing it back in. He did it about eleven times before finally settling on a book about. 'the history of architecture'.

He opened it and read the first page, it was the perfect one. He flipped another page his smile growing slightly. Took him long enough to find the exact book. He flipped another page and spotted a neatly folded letter tucked against the page. He walked to an empty table and placed his bag on the floor, before sitting down and picking up the letter. Looked kinda old in his opinion, like maybe it was written in the 1900s?

He lifted the letter high and notice a flower shape  seal tamp design. Looked quite romantic in my opinion. He opened it and realized it was really a love letter by someone. Though there was no name but it looked like it was neetly written by someone. He read it slowly, as he pushed the book aside both hands gripping the letter.

my dearest.

I write this still thinking about the crowded station. Filled with the hurry of people and the noise of the train. I spotted you in the midst of the crowd your pale hands holding a lavander bouquet. Amidst the noise and hurry of the departure—I knew my heart had turned and started following you.

I didn't ask your name, I didn't have the courage to. I only saw you glance at each carriage searching for something. The train waited and the crown moved. But I stood rooted on the floor below, watching you vanish down the street. Carrying my thoughts with you as you walked away.

It feels like a strange, sweet thing. To fall for someone you barely knew so quickly, so utterly. For someone you barely met. A part of me already misses seeing you. I will return to the station, if I must. Until I finally see you again.

I'll write again, as I saw you holding a book. Where I may placed this letter in while you got distracted. I'll write again.. the letters may not stop we truly meet.

Yours entirely. "S"

Flux stared at the paper. His eyes landing on one single letter "S" who is 'S' and was he the one who wrote the letter? And if it means they where going to write more letters in the future. Soo that means there are more in the books in this part of the library.

Flux was completely hooked on finding the truth if this letter. A letter that seemed to be for someone. And he wanted to know who is it from exactly. And who was supposed to be the receiver of this? And whoever is 'S'. He couldn't wait to know the truth. That's when he started opening each books and flipping pages like maybe the next one will be there.

He searched for hours not finding another neetly tucked letter in the pages of the books. He could've searched all day if it wasn't for Thomas arriving and seeing him flipping pages widely. At that point curiosity was controlling his actions. But solving a mystery should be easy, or might be difficult?

"what are you doing in the library again?" Thomas asked walking next to flux and holding up a book from one of the shelves "this is what I'm looking for" he said placing the book inside his messenger bag.

Flux looked up at him, "I found a letter and I want to solve the mystery beyond it" flux said pulling the letter out and holding it Infront of Thomas.

Thomas took the letter in curiously and read it slowly, his face changing at the words written. "more letters will come?" he asked as flux nodded.

"yeah, I know it's none of my business but. I wanna solve the mystery. It's better than sitting in the school council office all day" he said placing back all the books he took out.

Thomas nodded taking one more glance at the letter. "I'll help, honestly? I wanna know more. Not all the time you get to find love letters sitting around" he said giving the letter back to flux.

"we, need to start looking. It's like where detectives solving for a romance story that hasn't been written along every stroke of writers pen, or quill" he said taking it and placing it in his bag.

"hm.. detective Thomas? I like it." Thomas grinned. Pulling out a clipboard. "but we have a meeting with the other board members. Maybe later and will solve this."

Flux glanced at the clipboard and rolled his eyes. "almost forgot"

"Well will continue this later, and attend this meeting before sidefall writes news that are fake." thomas said picking up another book and held it in his hand.

Flux nodded "yeah, we should go. Sidefall might write again like the time cynikka was late and he wrote that cynikka skipped class."

"But intirely, cynikka did looked like she was about to skip class" Thomas said walking with flux through the library door. "btw, who do you think the letter is from?"

Flux shrugged in response "probably someone who's name starts with 'S' "

thomas nodded slowly. "agreed. But where will we find the next letter?" He asked.

Flux continued walking to the room where the meeting starts in a few minutes. "probably in another book about history? Or something else."

Thomas opened the door for both of them. "well that will be lucky if we find the second one... In my opinion it might have been written in the 1900s"

"True, it might have been" he said closing the door from behind and slowly made his way to his chair. As the meeting slowly started.

Notes:

It's difficult. Writing letters knowing your not good at it. The letters aren't truly from me, some are inspiration from what I read. And some are just searches for more inspiration. But the letters aren't from me.

(I hope you understand that the letters aren't from me. But the story is from me,)

Tell me if there are errors, or should I continue this tonight or tomorrow.
