“There are a lot of themes of love in this chapter." - You comment, your wings fluttering in your back as you feel the scientist's presence get closer.
"DOES THAT BOTHER YOU, MY ANGEL?" - He asks, his voice a way of comfort after everything you saw.
"Not at all, if anything, I think this was more of a love letter from you. It was, wasn't it?" - You joke, seeing his face flush a light color of green as he hears your phrase.
You go closer to him, backing away from the chapter selection screen, using your wings to trap him in an embrace. You feel his body melting against yours, so you give him a quick kiss on his "cheek" or what you suppose is his cheek.
"WELL, IT CAN WORK AS A LOVE LETTER, BUT MOSTLY IT WAS MY OWN RESEARCH ABOUT THE MEANING OF LOVE. SINCE OUR LOVE IS APPARENTLY ROMANTIC BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT CANNOT BE." - He answers you and you immediately stop to hear him. You love hearing him, that you're sure.
"And what do you mean by that?" - You ask, untrapping him from your wing and sitting on the ground, immediately gesturing for him to sit along.
It's kinda weird but silly when Gaster sits by your side. He is getting down, but his form is so unstable that it looks like he's getting smaller. You let out a light chuckle, earning the same sound from him and the green blush coming back to his melting face.
"WELL, THERE IS A LOT OF YOU. SOME OF YOU THINK OF ME IN A ROMANTIC WAY, WISHES THAT WE GO ON DATES, PASS TIME TOGETHER AND DO OTHER THINGS THAT YOU CONSIDER ROMANTIC. HOWEVER, THE OTHERS YOU SEE ME IN A CARING AND PLATONIC WAY, ONLY WISHING TO UNDERSTAND ME AND DISCOVER ME COMPLETELY." - The goopy monster explains, and his smile gets wider when he notices you're listening. - "I AM HAPPY WITH BOTH OF YOU."
You partly understand what he means, so you smile when he says that. You're also happy with whatever you're going to discover about him, as long as he keeps talking those sweet and mysterious phrases. Then you're happy. Because there's nothing more interesting than trying to understand Gaster.
"I want to say... You really know how to write a story. I really liked all those sappy themes of love." - You say to him, and he holds your hand. - "Do you believe all that you've put in this chapter?"
"I DO." - The scientist answers, tightening his hold on your hand, his head leaning against your shoulder. It's comfortable. You like this feeling of comfort that you have with him. - "DO YOU AGREE WITH WHAT I HAVE SAID?"
"Of course I do." - You giggle, your wings moving to wrap both of you in a makeshift blanket. - "I wonder if one day you will make a couple for our DELTA RUNE that will be just like us..."
"I CANNOT DO THAT. I CANNOT RECREATE OUR BEAUTIFUL CONNECTION, MY ANGEL." - Gaster immediately answers, and you feel his face accommodate even more on your shoulder.
"I know, I'm just saying that I would find it funny if you made a couple that would be similar to us.." - You comment, yawning as you feel the consequences of playing this chapter eight hours straight kicking in.
"I WILL THINK ABOUT THAT, HOWEVER, YOU NEED TO SLEEP." - He responds, and you feel his melting hand coming to caress your cheek.
"I will, but I want you close to me."
"I WON'T LEAVE."
