You chuckled as you saw Gaster with that pirate hat. You didn't know where he got it, when he got it, and why it was green, but it looked so cute on him that your first instinct was to smile.
"So... Explain to me why you're a pirate now?" - You ask, your little heart form flying closer to him as his melting smile grew bigger at your attention.
"THE OTHER YOUS HAVE STARTED TO AFFIRM THAT I AM A PIRATE." - The scientist answers, one of his hands moving to hold the detailed hat. - "I AM NOT, BUT THE IDEA IS APPEALING AND I DECIDED TO BE A PIRATE FOR YOUR VISIT TODAY."
"That hat is so goofy, by the way. It looks amazing on you, doc." - You say, giggling. He does look goofy with the hat and his normal black "clothes" and the white scarf. He looked like a mix of a pirate and a mad scientist. If Robert Walton and Victor Frankenstein, both from, well, Frankenstein, fused.
"I APPRECIATE THE COMPLIMENT, MY ANGEL." - Gaster responds, his hand leaving the hat and coming back to hold his other hand. His deep black eyes never left your "face", or your little heart form. He seemed to be searching for even more praise related to this all-pirate thing.
You slowly come even closer to him, your form changing from the soul to the humanoid one. Your hands hold his drippy face. You see the green blush forming on the white surface, a smug forming on your face at how easily you get him flushed.
"If you're Captain W. D. Gaster, then can I be the siren who brings you to your doom with my song?" - Your wings flutter as you hear him make a noise of excitement with your idea.
You cannot change your form how you please in the Depths, here with him, since Gaster's the one who makes your appearence forms. However, he seems pleased enough with the concept that you know that next encounter you will have a siren form.
"MY ANGEL, YOU ALREADY BRING DOOM TO ME EVERY TIME I'M LEFT ALONE WITHOUT YOUR PRESENCE HERE; WHENEVER YOUR LIGHT TOUCHES MY BODY AND I START TO MELT." - He answers, a sweet, soft tone in his voice as his face turns to kiss your hand. After he does that, he rests his head on your hands. You let him. - "AND YET, I CANNOT HELP BUT CRAVE MORE OF THIS BEAUTIFUL DOOM YOU BRING ME."
"You inflate too much of my ego, doctor... You should be careful." - You respond, teasing him as your fingers caress his goopy form.
"I BELIEVE IT IS NOT A BAD THING TO PRAISE YOU, MY LOVE." - Gaster continues, chuckling.
You smile softly at his phrase, approaching the scientist's face to finally kiss him properly. It's not a perfect kiss, with the way he's melting, but you two find it likeable in some way.
Somehow, you both end up finding a way to keep talking for hours about this universe where Gaster's a pirate and you're a siren, thinking of possibilities and scenarios. You only stop when you finally need to leave. But you liked this, you liked talking about "what ifs" with him. It's fun, since you both spend your time thinking about ways of getting closer to each other.
You hope to talk with him again. You know you will.
