“I’m a demon,” Dennis answers honestly.
It’s that raw honesty that makes Robby pause, “demons aren’t real.”
“But you believe your God is? When They couldn’t even answer a single one of your prayers?” Dennis laughs, not meanly, just in disbelief.
Robby’s lips part in shock. He swallows thickly, “My Bubbe always said demons will steal your soul, is that what you want in exchange?”
Dennis grabs his tail and strokes it; Robby follows the motion, palm itching to touch. This time, when the demon rounds the bed, he doesn’t move. He merely turns so they’re standing face to face.
Robby has to look down at him and fuck the kid looks gorgeous.
“I want something only you can provide,” Dennis hums, “a life in exchange for a life.”
