Summary
Ben Solo has nothing left to lose when he runs from his life in Coruscant. Aimless wandering leads him to Niima Motel, a bare-bones motel in the buttcrack of Modern America: Jakku.
Rey Niima, the receptionist of the motel, refuses to let go of her past, afraid to even dream of a future beyond the remote town of Jakku, when he shows up at the motel, dishevelled and looking every bit a man on the run.
It's not a surprise to either of them when they fall into each other's orbits.
But nothing good ever lasts forever.
