   Summary

   After reaching the end of his time at the Academy Will Serfort has failed to enter the tower yet again. Accepting that there is no path forward through sheer effort, Will turns his back on Regarden and ventures out into the world beyond its borders in pursuit of new purpose and a way to belong. The Wandering Sword is a profession that has recently started to gain traction, a special class of adventurer who is loyal to no guild and takes jobs based on their own judgement. After meeting one of these Wandering Swords for himself, Will decides that this was the path he was meant to take.
