Summary
The call comes over the radio in a voice so strained John Nolan barely recognizes it. "All units... Code Red at Mid-Wilshire. Officer down. Multiple officers down."
Within minutes, the station John has called home for years becomes the epicentre of an unimaginable tragedy. An unidentified attacker armed with a military-grade repeating crossbow breaches Mid-Wilshire during the middle of a routine workday, turning desks, hallways, and briefing rooms into a battlefield.
Bolts fly without warning, striking officers before anyone can understand what's happening. By the time the attacker disappears as suddenly as they arrived, the station is left in eerie silence—broken only by alarms, cries for help, and the desperate voices of officers trying to save one another.
