Summary
Twelve years ago, Rin disappeared with her four-year-old son, Naruto. No one ever found them, and eventually everyone accepted they were gone.
During a routine mission, Team 7 finds an injured sixteen-year-old in the middle of the forest. Sasuke sees a possible enemy, Sakura sees a patient, and Kakashi realizes the boy is the son he thought he'd lost.
Now Kakashi has to figure out where Naruto has been for the last twelve years—and why he came back alone.
