Chapter Text
“Good morning sunshine!” Arizona called, bouncing from the hallway into her first patient of the mornings room with the big smile she always had on her face.
The patient beamed, “DR. ROBBINS!!!”
“Hey! How are you feeling today?” Arizona asked.
“SO MUCH BETTER!” The little girl yelled.
“Wow! I can tell!” She laughed. This was Arizona’s favorite part of the day. She loved to see her tiny humans feeling better, knowing that she was the reason. After taking with the patient and her parents for a bit, Arizona said goodbye and ran off to finish up her rounds.
Arizona had just recently gotten used to her wheely sneaks again, and was happily rolling down the long hospital hallways, when she suddenly saw a familiar face. It was her wife, Dr. Callie Torres. the head of orthopedic surgery. “Hi Calliope!” Arizona waved, with a big cocky grin spread across her face. “I missed you during rounds!” Arizona leans her face towards Callie. “You want a kiss?” Callie asks, softly grinning. “Yes…” Arizona mumbled, leaning in even closer to her. Callie puts her two lips to Arizona’s rosy pink cheek and kisses it softly. Her dusty mauve lip gloss leaving a bit of sticky, cherry scented residue on her wife's blushed cheek. The tiny kiss lasted about a couple seconds, but to them, it had felt like hours. The tiny moment of peace in the chaos of the hospital was then interrupted by the loud beeps of Arizona’s pager, decorated with stickers and pink puffy paint. “OH! Gotta run! I love you!” Arizona said, blowing a kiss at Callie. While Arizona was rolling away, she checked the pager again, to see that the page was for the same kid she had first checked on this morning.
