Summary
A slow-burn romantic comedy set in a structured urban fantasy universe where shifters secretly live among humans. The narrative kicks off during a brutal winter storm when the fiercely dedicated but beautifully oblivious Sawamura Eijun rescues what he believes is a freezing, wild tanuki. In reality, the creature is Miyuki Kazuya—the brilliant, notoriously smug engineering student—who has been temporarily "locked" in his animal form. This story is focused on comedy and the theme of 'found family'. It's technically a slow-burn romance, but it's incredibly slow and the romance is not the focal point. It's just a comedy of shenanigans! Keep in mind that while in animal form, shifters are heavily influenced by their animal nature.
The story is written in a day-by-day type of format, so it progresses slowly. This story doesn't have anything to do with logic, so don't try to read it with logic - it's just a lot of silly/stupid humor! :) And I will try to post at least 1 new chapter a week, but will probably post more!
