not to make a new AU every time we're sad but currently cooking up some kind of monster sea salt family au where like
- Saïx as some kind of monster who's grown up and is used to navigating a human society, good at what he does and basically doesn't face any risks as long as he's smart about what he does
- sweet baby Xion who's a different kind of creature (maybe created on purpose hmhmhm????) but kept getting in trouble failing to blend in with human society so Saïx, local girl dad, has taken her in and is helping figure out how to get her a balanced life that has her needs met but also keep her safe
- matching her is sweetheart Roxas with them baby blue puppydog eyes who has some kind of extremely suspicious but otherwise manageable upkeep like- idea so far is that he just only eats raw meat. very troublesome but hypothetically doable. feral little boy is hungry all hours of day and needs taking care of
- then Axel! token mortal man who met this wolfish boy and realized that someone's gotta take care of him. he really has no idea what's going on but all he knows is that someone's gotta keep Roxas safe and by god it's gonna be him
