    In the middle of war, Neteyam te suli tseyeyk'itan is shot in the chest and through his upper back, by a metal bullet, by a gun, the same type of gun he had just fired.
    Neteyam was sure he was going to die the moment the bullet entered, when he saw all the blood seeping out of him into the ocean.
    What Neteyam didn't expect was to survive.
    He also didn't expect his legs to stop working.
    Though something he truly never expected was for Ao'nung - a boy who had bullied his siblings, and almost gotten his brother dead - to be the one who made him feel comfortable. He didn't expect Ao'nung to be the one helping him the most.
