   Simon was certain he would die in the iron lung, alone and terrified, so he did the only thing that occurred to him: he prayed.
   He asked to be saved, or at least that his soul not remain trapped in the ocean of blood upon his death.
   Something heard his prayers... and what he received was a strange man surrounded by cut roses.
