“Nearly there,” Alan has that small, half-smile again, the one that always warms her heart. It’s a balm, soothing and reassuring. It’s that smile that made her fall in love with him - uncertain but joyous, adorable and arousing in equal measure. Strong and protective, but soft and gentle too. How could anybody be more perfect than Alan Grant?With the thought in her mind, she settles back in her seat, though it only takes a moment before Alan unbuckles his seatbelt and migrates to the middle seat, buckling the new seatbelt. It’s a smaller seat, but he’s closer to her, and they both need the proximity after everything they’ve gone through.
