Summary
Nacho is found by Lalo after his betrayal, and to his horror, finds that Lalo may have some use for him yet. What spirals forth is a dark set of exchanges, forcing Nacho to come to terms not only with his place by Lalo’s side, but eventually, with his own feelings shifting far outside his control.

Lalo’s eyes did not narrow and yet Nacho could tell some calculation had taken place behind them, some weighing of scales. Nacho’s soul against a feather, the lighter a winner.
