    Summary

She wasn’t going to survive, even if Wesker broke her fall. She knew it. She was just trying to convince herself otherwise. So then why? Why was she doing this?

Maybe, deep down, she just wanted Wesker to die, as painfully and as certainly as possible. She hated him, as much as she tried to deny it. Even if he was her former boss, even if there was a point when she really, really cared for him, it just made her despise him all that much more– more than Spencer, more than even Umbrella, for betraying her so blatantly.

Her pushing Wesker out the window to save Chris was a sacrifice. But the minute they left the ground, they were both already dead. Her holding fast to Wesker was not a selfless act, nor was it an act of self-preservation. It was an act of revenge.

Maybe Wesker is letting Jill punish him to prove a point with his dying breath. That Jill’s final act would not be one of sacrifice and selflessness but of malice.

    She shut her eyes tight.
