Whining, Woongki purposefully turns away so he won’t have to look at the other man’s expression a moment longer. “At this point, it’s too late. If I tell him now, he’ll think I’ve been listening on purpose.” That thought is humiliating enough to make him clap a hand over one of his swiftly warming ears. “I’m just hoping he’ll get serious with JL and go over to his place instead.”
“How badly do you want a solution?”
As long as he’s known Steven, Woongki should have absolutely been able to read the mischief in his tone, but he’s not thinking. He’s too busy devoting brain power to his roommate predicament, and to whether or not he’s being made fun of. And since neither of these apply, his answer is quick and easy.
“I think I’d do anything.”
