“Est was crying and throwing things. William was on his knees begging Est not to push him away or shut him out - “I can’t reach you, Est. Please! Why are you shutting me out?!”, he had repeated again and again.
It was over between them, but not quickly. They stayed, yelling and crying, in Williams apartment for nearly two days. Nobody was able to reach them, and finally, the police were called.”
Or: someone had attempted to kill Est in his apartment. He keeps receiving death threats and to protect himself and William, he leaves. William returns to a world he had once abandoned, in order to protect Est.
