Summary
Shane is struggling. On the outside, he's a talented hockey player, falling in love with his rival. On the inside, there's a battle to be won. He fights, and he doesn't always win. When Shane has a breakdown at the cottage, Ilya doesn't know what to do. So he does what he thinks he can. He calls Yuna Hollander. Yuna could tell her son was struggling but didn't want to force anything on him. When Ilya calls her in a panic, she does what she thinks she has to in order to save her son. And so, Psychiatric assistance is needed. When Shane goes in, he's a shy, struggling young man. When he comes out, he's still shy, but now he's struggling in different ways. The same could be said about Ilya.
Ilya was fine. Shane was getting help. But it didn't take long after Shane came out for him to notice a change in the man he loves. And the battle that Ilya thought he would never fight comes closer than he imagined.
