Chapter Text
It was a beautiful sunny day in Yokohama, wonderful for this sad dog of a boy in the port city.
“Chuuya. It's great to see you've adjusted well to life in the Port Mafia." Mori was sitting at his desk, the gleaming red wood reflecting the light shining through the wide windows of his office. Chuuya stood in front of the man, pulling into a bow as he tried not to squint from the sunlight breaching through his bangs.
“Thank you, Boss. But why have you called me here today?”
“We need someone around the age of 15 for an infiltration mission over in Musutafu at a hero school. Unfortunately, you're the only one available for this task right now.”
“What? But why can't that shitty Dazai go? He's also 15, you know?”
“Unfortunately we can't just use Dazai, despite how much more useful for the mission he'd be. He simply has a more significant amount of responsibilities than you in the Port mafia.” Mori grinned before continuing, “However, the Flags will be joining to support you in the mission.”
Chuuya is still staring at Mori in disbelief, it hasn't even been one year since he's joined the Port mafia. In full honesty, he doesn't even think he could do any school with the education he has. It doesn't help that the damn mackerel is likely to taunt him because of this, Chuuya can already hear it.
Wow! Chibi's so stupid that he still has to go to school while in the mafia?
Such a shame that my little purse dog has to leave, he's gonna get squashed on like the slug he is!
Sigh, I can't believe my puppy has finally left the nest! Sob sob.
Chuuya sighs, glancing away from the Boss's face as he thought about the situation longer, “Fine, what the hell am I even supposed to be doing in this mission anyways?”
“You're going to try out for UA in order to stop the pro heroes from interfering with our affairs. Those heroes don't belong here, and we need you to make sure that there isn't any progress in their plan.”
Chuuya wonders if he should join Dazai for a double suicide. Then rethinks, as that's actually really stupid of him to even be imagining.

Chuuya had been sulking in his apartment. Bitter about the sudden change in the routine of his place in the mafia. Up until a certain blond barges into his apartment and slams the door into the wall. He glances up at Albatross from the papers he'd been previously reading, "The hell are you doing here? I gotta leave soon, aren't you and the others supposed to be packing too?”
“Woah, road trip! Did Boss already tell ya’ we’re all going? The rest of us have finished packing by now, so it looks like you're a bit behind buddy!” Albatross, the same as usual it seemed.
It seemed that Albatross’ yelling brought attention to Chuuya's place, as soon as he said that, Piano Man pokes his head through the door, “Ah, Chuuya now finally knows about the mission?” Behind Piano Man were the three other Flags, Doc right in the entrance with Piano Man while Lippmann and Ice Man stood farther back.
Chuuya slams his head against the table, “Why does it have to be some stupid hero school, can't Mori just use some government person to stop them from prying into Yokohama and the Port Mafia's business!”
“Don't worry man, look at it this way. You get to have an education!”
“Not like you have one either Albatross,”
“Shhhhhhhhh! We don't gotta talk about that, Doc!”
Chuuya's head impacts with the table again, this time not bothering to pick it back up.

All of the Flags are in the car leaving Yokohama, Lippmann is in the seat next to Ice Man being the passenger princess, as usual. Since Albatross wasn't able to drive due to the age restriction rules of Musutafu, he decides to do other shenanigans. Albatross reaches over to the front seat from the gap between the seat and the wall and presses the button to roll up all of the windows completely.
The wind blasted through the car, Chuuya held tightly to the arms of his seat as his orange hair managed to consistently get in his eyes and mouth no matter where he turned. He tried to spit out his hair but all that did was make the wet hair hit him in the face again. The only good thing was that his shampoo seemed to not taste as bad as it could have.
He could hear Albatross yelling something across the car to Ice Man and then felt the sharp turn to the right, nearly throwing Chuuya into the window.
“Will you slow down! I may have a gravity ability, but that doesn't mean I want to be thrown out of the damn car!”
“Heh heh, weakling.” Doc snickered next to Chuuya, somehow managing to sit perfectly still amidst all the chaos, IV and all. Albatross groaned and giggled as he crawled up into a sitting position from his spot on the floor of the car, due to the lack of seats.
Chuuya winced and neglected mentioning the gum wrapper resting in the middle of the blond’s hair.
Ice Man rolled up all the windows as they neared their destination. Piano Man pulled out Lippmann's disguise they needed so that he wouldn't get recognized in the apartment complex.
They were in two separate groups with apartments right next to each other, Ice Man, Piano Man and Lippmann went first while Doc, Albatross and Chuuya waited in the car for now.
They're still in the car sitting in silence until Albatross (with the gum wrapper still in his hair) gasped,
“I just had a great idea guys! Since us three are all living in the same apartment, we should be called the ‘Cool Kids Group’! Piano Man, Ice Man and Lippmann could be called something boring like ‘The Man's’ you know?”
“Albatross, I'm twenty-five. A decade older than you and Chuuya.”
“Shushy, Doc, don't ruin my fucking schemes.”
Chuuya picks up his phone and looks at the time, “I think it's been long enough, let's go inside so I don't have to listen to Albatross saying stupid names or whatever bullshit always comes out of his mouth.”
Albatross sighs dramatically, with it being practically an insult to Lippmann's career with how horribly it was done, before crawling out of his spot on the floor. He pushed open the door before falling flat on his face on the concrete. Chuuya barked out a laugh as he stepped over Albatross’ quaking body, Doc simply leaving from the door on his own side instead.
As the three of them walk inside, Chuuya notices someone pass by them and stare at the gum wrapper sticking in Albatross’ hair and is somewhat glad that they don't acknowledge or question the giant IV pole Doc is dragging with him.
