Blitz leaned away from the mirror to examine his horns. They looked fucking cool as Hell with the pan colors painted on them. Sure, it had taken a lot of time, but it was worth it. He was going to be the hottest guy at that party.
There was a knock at his door.
“Come on Asshole. We’re going to be late,” a raspy voice called from the other side, a little louder than necessary.
Blitz sighed. “Keep your jester hat on, Fizz. We aren’t going to be late.” He sighed. Fizz had been practically impossible ever since he'd met that Ozzie dude. Always needing to be around him. Kind of pathetic really.
He swung the door open wide with a grin. “I had to make sure I look good after all.”
It was Fizz’s turn to roll his eyes. “Let’s just go.” He huffed in frustration.

Lucifer University was a very diverse school. It had a reputation as one of the finer schools in all of the Seven Rings of Hell, providing students with the best education available. That was why the parents loved it. Parents did whatever they could to get their children accepted so they could brag to every other parent about where their little darling went to school.
For the students, though, it had a different allure. It was home to the coolest fraternity houses in all of Hell, famous for throwing the best parties around. Whether it was for another party or just hanging out, the people you met there quickly became your go-to crowd—and, more often than not, your friends for life. Which was why students tended to love it.
This party did not disappoint in the least. Pride Fest was one of the big ones at LU. The drinks were top-notch, the music never missed, and the massive fraternity house had been decorated from floor to ceiling for the occasion. Everyone there was showing their colors with pride in one form or another. Some, like Blitz, painted them on themselves. Others wore them in their clothes or as accessories.
Blitz noted with a hint of amazement just how many students were there sporting so many different colors. He loved it. Everything from ace to pan and everything in between was represented. He even spotted a few people wearing ally colors, which was pretty damn cool.
Fizz had abandoned him just a few minutes after they got there. The moment he caught sight of Ozzie, he practically melted where he stood, all heart-eyed and lovestruck before disappearing into the crowd toward him. It was still so odd to Blitz to think of Fizz as having a boyfriend. They were still in college, for fuck's sake. Playing the field, sowing wild oats, and any other metaphor for having sex with a lot of people that one could think of; wasn't that what it was all about? Why settle down? Getting tied down to one person was just fucking stupid.
Right now, however, he had more important priorities. Weaving his way through the crowd, Blitz scanned the room for someone who looked like they'd be fun to make out with. The place was crawling with hotties and sexy little asses, and surely one of them would be up for a good time tonight. He spotted a cute little succubus, but quickly noticed she was already talking to some guy. Oh well. He wasn't against a threesome, just not in the mood for one today, so he moved on.
He started making his rounds at the party, dancing for a while with a circle of hotties. Seemingly everywhere he saw couples hooking up. Not easily discouraged, Blitz decided to do another lap around. Blitz was starting to think all the fuckable people had already hooked up with someone else. It would be a real bust if he didn't even find someone to make out with. Just as he was about to give up hope, he spotted him.
A tall drink of water stood off in a corner, shyly watching the crowd with his hands clasped together in front of him in an almost timid gesture. Oddly, there was something almost painfully endearing about it. He wasn't wearing any colors, so Blitz was going to have to gamble on this one.
He sauntered up to the guy and simply looked at him for a moment. The guy was absolutely gorgeous. Fuck. Way better looking than anyone had any right to be.

The stranger noticed Blitz staring and greeted him uncertainly. "H-hello?"
A smoldering smile crossed Blitz's face as something told him he might actually score with this guy, and he decided to lay one of his best lines on him. "Hey, pretty Boy. Can I borrow a kiss? Promise to give it back."
The tall guy let out a small, surprised snort before giggling, his cheeks tinting a soft pink. He leaned down and pressed a quick kiss to Blitz's cheek before straightening again. Strangely, the kiss felt like an electric current shooting from his cheek all the way to the tip of his tail.
Just as Blitz was about to say something, another guy, just as tall and dressed as a pirate, walked up and handed the other one a drink.
"Here you go, Stolas." He glanced over at Blitz. "Who is this?" he asked, a twinkle in his eye.
“Name's Blitz. The O is silent,” he said, trying to assess if this guy was a threat.
“Vassago,” the second guy said, pointing to himself. With a bright smile, he looked from his friend to Blitz, whose tail had started wagging behind him without him even noticing. He pointed to the first guy. “And this here is my good friend Stolas. He needs more friends in his life, Blitz. Wouldn’t it be fun to get to know him better?” He winked at Stolas, who had gone nearly as red as Vassago was. “I’ll leave you to it.” He smirked as he walked away.
“He— I mean— he means—” Blitz thought it was incredibly cute to watch this guy stumble over his words. “Don’t mind him.” Stolas finally managed to spit out.
“He’s cool. Come on,” he said with a soft smile, taking a step closer. He took Stolas by the hand and led him to the couch. Sitting down, Blitz wouldn’t get a kink in his neck at least. Fuck, this guy was tall.
Once Stolas had taken a seat, Blitz sat down, taking the spot next to him. “Now we can talk. Get to know each other." Blitz could tell this guy was going to need a little help relaxing before anything else happened. Somehow, he'd make it work. Sometimes, the extra effort wasn't worth it. But this guy was really cute. And sexy. Blitz didn’t mind putting in extra effort.
So they talked, and talked, and talked. The guy was an amazing conversationalist, with a gentle charm and just a hint of sass. He laughed at Blitz's jokes, too, somehow making him feel special just by being himself. Before Blitz had realized what had happened, the party was coming to an end. Almost everyone had left, and one of the fraternity brothers of the house hosting the party came over.
“Hey, guys. You don’t have to go home. But you can’t stay here.”
Stolas looked around as if coming out of a haze. “Oh… oh dear. I had not even realized…” he started looking around. “I need to find…” he pulled out his phone and looked at it. “Oh,” he giggled. “Never mind. It seems Vassago has left with Andy.”
Blitz had no idea who the fuck Andy was, but it didn’t matter. Then he remembered Fizz had ditched him almost the second they'd arrived to go play happy couple with his new boyfriend. Still, unlike the little traitor, Blitz wasn't about to leave without making sure he didn't need a ride home. He pulled out his phone and quickly glanced at it.
"And Fizz left with Ozzie, so I have no one to drive home. Need a ride?" he was trying to keep the feeling of hope that arose at bay.
“That would be delightful,” Stolas said, breathing a sigh of relief. With Vassago gone, he had not been sure how he was going to get home.

They sat out front of the small house in the van, still talking for almost twenty minutes about everything and nothing all at once, never once running out of things to say, before Blitz finally asked, “So you and Vassago live here in this house all by yourself?”
Stolas glanced out the van window, looking momentarily puzzled as he took in the little house for the first time. “Yes. We both like our space,” he answered as if it was the most natural explanation in the world.
Blitz understood the subtext quite well enough and felt a little deflated. The guy had money. That meant he would most likely not be interested in Blitz at all. But he would regret it if he didn’t at least try. There was something about this guy. Blitz had a feeling he wouldn’t be able to simply walk away. Somehow, Blitz knew he'd regret it for the rest of his life if he didn't give this everything he had. He wasn’t ready to let the evening end.
“Hey,” Blitz said as if remembering something. “I almost forgot.” He smiled at Stolas who looked at him with his four red eyes wide with curiosity.
“Oh? What?”
“I still owe you this.” he leaned over and gave Stolas a chaste kiss on the beak. It was soft, warm, and somehow even more perfect than Blitz had imagined from the moment he'd first laid eyes on him. He pulled away slowly and opened his eyes.
Stolas was looking at him with a look that Blitz couldn’t quite place. “That… that was really nice.” Stolas sighed quietly, his cheeks still dusted a soft pink.
He fidgeted with his fingers for a moment before clearing his throat. "Ehm." He glanced back at the house, then looked at Blitz again. “Vassago is always telling me I need to live more. Not let life and opportunities always pass me by.”
The sudden shift in conversation was unexpected. Blitz really didn’t want to talk about the red bird right now. Was he seriously trying to tell Blitz the red guy was some kind of life guru? Not knowing how to respond, he simply sat in silence as Stolas clearly was having an inner debate with himself. Finally a smile crossed Stolas’ face.
“I think he is absolutely right.” He straightened his shoulders and continued. “I really enjoyed myself this evening. And honestly, I am not ready for it to end…" He hesitated, the blush creeping back into his cheeks. “Would you… Would you like to come in… for a nightcap?”
He had not been expecting an invitation. Through their conversations throughout the evening, Blitz had very quickly realized that Stolas had led a sheltered life and was rather inexperienced and quite innocent. He wasn't even sure Stolas knew what a nightcap usually implied. The blush he had seen cross Stolas’ face did make him wonder, though.
The guy was so damn sweet that, for once, Blitz wouldn't have minded if they didn't get any further than second base. But he also didn't want the night to end. Never before had he been content with the idea of simply hanging out and talking with a guy. He was surprised to discover that if that was all that happened tonight, he'd be okay with it. As long as he got to spend a little more time with Stolas. So he nodded. “Yeah, that would be great.”
They made their way into the house together, both very excited to see just where the rest of the night would take them.
