   Summary

   One evening after Halloween, Remus returns home, determined to fix his failing relationship with Sirius, only to find their cottage completely empty. Remus soon begins the worst night of his life as he learns what he missed while he was away and to top it all off he learns that Harry has been given to Lily's sister to raise.
   Heartbroken, on the verge of drinking himself to death, Remus makes a decision which will turn his life upside down, but along the way, he learns just how much he and Harry need each other.
