Vio stares into the mirror.
Seconds ago it showed him, hammer in hand, ready to break the mirror itself. Now it shows him, and only him, eyes wide in shock his head tilted slightly sideways, as though confused.
Vio is not confused. He knows exactly the danger he's in.
He feels Shadow's hand—cold as glass—slide up his arms, across his stomach, his chest.
He's pinned, held, embraced.
"I'm not mad," Shadow murmurs into his neck. "It was only hylian."
Vio looks to the mirror, where he stands alone.
"Something you won't be much longer."
Sharpness, against his neck.
