“No, it’s fine…” His gaze shifted to Armand, a teasing smile playing on his lips before he finally added, “It’s just that his were better.” Despite the casualness of his words, Armand couldn’t hold back the faint smile tugging at his lips. Nostalgia struck both men straight in the heart, sharp and unforgiving. But reality quickly resurfaced—the past belonged in the past, and Louis neither knew nor should ever know any of it.
