In this home that they’ve built, Vash likes afternoon naps. He sprawls in the full rays of the sun beside a window that spans from floor to ceiling and has Wolfwood join him.
Nai had been the one to insist on the panoramic window. Now, as he watches Vash tangle his limbs together with Wolfwood in a sleepy pile, looking endlessly content, he cannot imagine anything worth more than the happiness of his brother.
The peace that Nai has found at last is a quiet one.
Vash cracks an eye open and extends his hand. “Nai, come join us already.”
