AS MENTIONED IN THE TITLE, SKIP IF YOU'VE READ THE FIRST FIC. HUGE SPOILERS FOR THE COLOUR ORANGE BELOW.
Bear, the way I wrote him in my first fic, dated Fox's father for an unknown period of time prior to 1970. Fox did not learn this information until the events of The Colour Orange, a fic that takes place between episodes 11 and 12 of the show, as his father passed at the age of 10, and his mother chose to keep it a secret. This fic's purpose is to explore the history, nature, and development of Bear (Jani) and Fox's father (Edwin), along with how Fox's mother (Dana) and Fox himself fits into all of this. While this story is mostly about those three, other characters, who tie into the other fics, will be making their appearance here. This fic is angsty, has a lot of historical references, homoerotic, a little more fanon than canon (though I tired my best to make it fit in-universe), and slow-burn. Don't worry though, sweet and tender moments will be squeezed in here. With all that out of the way, the prologue chapter will premiere in about an hour or so, likely less, after this chapter is posted.
